CARING FOR PETS

North Croydon Veterinary Clinic

Picture
North Croydon Veterinary Clinic is nestled in an attractive bushland environment not far from the busy Maroondah Highway in North Croydon. We are easily accessible with plenty of parking onsite.
The clinic was established over 30 years ago by Dr Geoff Hayres and is today owned and operated by Dr Mark Andrews.
Over the years the clinic has become a Croydon North fixture and has enjoyed many wonderful, loyal clients who make treating pets and their people more of a pleasure than a job.
At North Croydon Veterinary Clinic we celebrate the human-animal bond and we provide an honest, caring and down to earth service for your pet family members. Our helpful, experienced staff are always more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your pets health. Please do not hesitate to call us on (03) 9726 9616.
We look forward to helping you with your enquiry.

Important COVID-19 Information for North Croydon Veterinary Clinic
In order to keep everyone safe the following measures will be implemented:
  • Please call ahead at least 24 hrs prior to requiring repeat medications or food and when picking up please remain in your vehicle and call the clinic for instructions so we can control foot traffic flow and maintain safe social distancing.
  • Please make appointments and be on time to facilitate social distancing
  • On arrival at the clinic please stay in your car and call the clinic and we will direct you as to when you can come up onto the deck Ph. 9726 9616
  • EFT payments only
  • Please bring your own pen to sign any consent forms
  • One person only accompanying your pet
  • One person only in the waiting room
  • The Veterinarian will speak with you regarding your pet and then take your pet into the consultation room whilst you remain in the waiting room and then they will come back out and go thru everything with you.
  • If you are awaiting covid-19 test results or have tested positive or anyone you have close contact with has tested positive or are awaiting test results, PLEASE STAY AT HOME and call the clinic and alternative arrangements will be discussed to ensure everyone is kept safe.
  • If you have any respiratory symptoms, cough, sore throat, fever, loss of taste, runny nose etc or had close contact with someone with these symptoms PLEASE STAY AT HOME and call the clinic and alternative arrangements will be discussed to ensure everyone is kept safe.
  • Face masks must be worn and the 1.5m social distancing needs to be followed both with staff and other clients. Please take care to do this, it is so important and so many people are not doing it
  • Hand sanitiser is available at the front door please use it before and after entering the clinic.
  • Unfortunately we can no longer accommodate house calls and house call euthanasia’s.
In Clinic euthanasia’s unfortunately will be limited to one person accompanying their pet after a catheter and line have been placed to ensure social distancing. This is extremely regrettable but unfortunately it is necessary. Most clinics have either a similar policy or are not letting anyone in the door at all. Anyone having to go thru this has our full compassion and please know I would not be implementing this unless it was 100% necessary because it absolutely breaks my heart and goes against everything I hold dear regarding the human- animal bond.
We regret we have to take these measures but have to abide by the lockdown laws and it is our obligation to keep our clients and staff safe and limit the spread of this virus as well as remain open to care for your animals. I know many of you are doing it tough and everyone has their own individual difficulties and anxieties with regard to COVID 19 restrictions, job losses, sick family members etc. and a sick pet can be the straw that broke the camel’s back. We are here for you and doing our best to look after you and your pet. Please be patient and respectful to each other and our staff. We don’t want to make things any more difficult than they already are. We have more staff than ever before and everything takes longer by social distancing but we have to do it.
Best wishes to everyone, we all have a lot of individual and collective challenges at the moment so be kind and if you have any concerns please send me an Email (admin@northcroydonevetclinic.com.au) and I will try and address them ASAP
Best regards to everyone, and take care of yourselves and others, Mark
