Dr Mark Andrews BVSc (Hons) - Practice Owner & Senior Veterinarian (Full time)

Mark graduated from Melbourne University in 1993. After graduating from University Mark spent 8 years working in a busy Melbourne 24 hour Emergency and Specialist referral clinic. Wanting a change of pace he then gained employment at Mont Albert Veterinary Clinic where the benefits of general practice and getting to know  all of his clients and patients better appealed to him. Wanting to work closer to his family home in Croydon Hills Mark then joined the team at North Croydon Veterinary Clinic in 2002. In 2013 Mark took ownership of the clinic and is now the Practice Owner and Manager.

Mark and his wife Heather have 3 sons Jack, Tom and Luke. They own a beautiful labrador "Billy", a Jack Russell terrier "Maggie" who keeps Billy in line as well as "Peanut" & "Henry" the cats. They also own, "Bill" and "Bob" the rainbow lorikeets. It is a full menagerie at the Andrews household!

Dr Jess Grice BVSc - Associate Veterinarian (Part-time)
Jess joined the team in 2017 as a part time associate veterinarian. Details coming soon.

Dr Carly Cheung BVSc (Hons) - Associate Veterinarian (Part-time)
Carly graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2005. She spent the first years of her career working at an animal shelter, then a busy 24 hour emergency clinic and then a private practice. She has spent the last 9 years working as a locum vet at many different clinics around Melbourne. She locumed at North Croydon Vet Clinic in 2017 and has now returned part-time since the birth of her son Remy. Besides Remy, Carly has an English Staffy and a wire-haired Jack Russell (Edith and Agatha), a Bengal X cat called Louis, and a beautiful sheep called Billy Bob.









Liz Bailey - Senior Vet Nurse /Practice Manager (Full time)​

Liz became a qualified Veterinary Nurse in 2003 and has worked in various areas of the industry since 2002, including general practice clinics, shelter and emergency nursing. She ran puppy preschool classes for many years and even undertook a professional pet grooming course. In 2013 Liz started helping out on a casual basis at North Croydon while working full time at Doncaster Vet. A move to the Dandenong Ranges in 2016 meant accepting a full time position at NCVC allowed her to work closer to home.
Liz loves all areas of vet nursing but her heart lies in surgical nursing and monitoring the recovery of the clients beloved pets.

At home she lives with her partner: Eamon, a handsome little black cat called "Edward", and 2 rescue pups; "Kini" the Staffy, and "Rowdy" the Kelpie who loves to live up to his name!

Kym Scott - Veterinary Nurse (Part time)
​​Kym joined the team at North Croydon in 2015 on a part time basis. She came to us with a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the veterinary industry having worked as a nurse for the last 15 years. She has spent time in general practice as well as working with a veterinary orthopaedic surgeon for 18mths. Kym also runs our Puppy Preschool classes on Wednesday evenings.
Away from the clinic Kym shares a large property with her husband Phil, their 2 children, 2 horses, a boisterous Labrador, 2 cats and a lizard!

Georgie Bennett - Veterinary Nurse (Full time)

Georgie recently arrived in Melbourne from NSW where she had worked in both small animal and mixed rural practice since graduating in 2010.
She joins us on a full time basis after nurse Dani left for her maternity leave. 
Outside the clinic Georgie spends her time with her pets, loves horse riding and travelling.





Lisa Mercieca - Veterinary Nurse (Part time)
